From January to September 2021, India's imports of solar battery Lifepo4 pack and modules increased by 448% to US $1.97 billion. In the same period last year, India imported $359.93 million worth of solar cells and modules.
From January to September, the country's exports of solar eneygy storage power system and modules were US $102.5 million, an increase of 45% compared with us $76.13 million in the same period last year.
In the third quarter of 2021, India's solar energy import volume was US $953 million, an increase of 580% compared with us $140 million in the same period last year. Compared with us $762 million in the previous quarter, it increased by about 25% month on month.
In the third quarter of 2021, solar energy exports increased by 25% to US $21.2 million from US $16.9 million in the third quarter of 2020. However, compared with us $60.6 million in the second quarter, it decreased by 65% month on month.
