Blue Carbon recently showcased its latest solar lighting and storage solutions at Solar & Storage Live Malaysia 2026 (8–9 April, MITEC Hall 4, Booth D05). The company highlighted new U-Power residential ESS units, compact C&I energy storage cabinets (e.g., 175–350 kWh systems), advanced solar flood lights, and integrated PV+storage lighting products.
These innovations drew strong interest from industry peers, installers, and potential partners. The event underscored global clean-energy trends - with renewables now nearly half of installed capacity and battery storage installations surging 43% in 2025. Blue Carbon's one-stop services (design, supply, installation, and after-sales) aim to help customers store clean energy and enjoy energy freedom.

Showcased Products and Features
We highlighted four product lines, each designed for different needs:
U-Power Residential ESS: A compact 24V DC storage unit for homes and small offices. It features high-cycle LiFePO₄ batteries (around 25.6 V/8kWh modules) and built-in inverter capability, enabling safe 5000–6000+ cycle lifetimes. Ideal for homeowners or small businesses wanting reliable backup power and peak shaving, it offers plug-and-play solar charging. (Residential light loads and off-grid cottages are the target applications.)
C&I Energy Storage Cabinets: Large-scale "all-in-one" cabinets (e.g., 175 kWh or 350 kWh) that integrate battery, BMS, EMS, and inverter. The model on display was a 175 kWh unit, suitable for commercial sites. Key features include automotive-grade LiFePO₄ cells rated for ~6600 charge cycles, IP55 enclosures for outdoor durability, and zero-transfer-time backup to keep critical loads online. These modular systems support multiple charge inputs (PV, grid, diesel) and are ideal for hotels, factories, offices, data centers, and large residential complexes. (Blue Carbon's ESS solutions are "designed to meet the power needs of residential, commercial, and industrial users".)
Solar Flood Lights: Energy-efficient LED floodlight fixtures with integrated solar panels and batteries. For example, our solar flood light (shown at the booth) provides bright illumination for campsites or construction sites without any cabling. They come with 10+ year warranties and have zero annual power cost since they harvest sunlight. These lights operate silently (no fuel or grid noise) and with no emissions ("pollution-free, noise-free, radiation-free"). Typical use cases include outdoor security lighting, parks, and remote area lighting projects.
Integrated Solar Lighting: All-in-one solar streetlights and garden lamps that combine photovoltaic panels, battery storage, and LED lights in a single unit. At the exhibition, we displayed tall pole lights and pathway lights that can be installed anywhere without wiring. Such products automatically charge by day and illuminate roads or walkways by night. These turn-key systems are ideal for rural streets, parks, parking areas, and pedestrian zones where grid power is unreliable or absent. By "harvesting sun and wind," as one attendee noted, they deliver energy autonomy and ease of installation compared to conventional lighting.
Each of these products delivers clear customer benefits – lowers electricity costs, enhances reliability, and fosters energy independence. (By integrating storage with clean generation, users "maximize self-consumption" and shave peak fees.) In conversation, installers appreciated that all units are pre-tested and come with our full support package: site design, supply, installation guidance, and 24/7 after-sales service.

The Malaysian government and industry leaders are strongly promoting solar and storage solutions. The expo attracted buyers, installers, distributors, EPC contractors, utilities, and investors – precisely the people we want to reach. At our stand, we answered technical questions from local solar developers and met potential partners who were interested in incorporating our systems into their offerings. Many cited Malaysia's 20% renewable energy target and upcoming microgrid projects as drivers of interest. Similarly, peers from Indonesia, Vietnam, and the Philippines expressed interest in cross-border collaboration. Overall, the feedback was that there is a high demand for one-stop turnkey solutions (like ours), since customers prefer a single point of contact for design, installation, and support.
Networking at the show generated several concrete opportunities, including invitations to join regional solar consortia, requests for product demonstrations at solar farms, and enquiries from a South Asian NGO considering our floodlights for rural electrification projects. In short, the buzz around our stand confirmed that our focus on combined PV+storage solutions addresses a real market need. This aligns with the ethos of the event: 'Solar & Storage Live' emphasises practical solutions that can be deployed now in Malaysia's growing clean-energy ecosystem.
In summary, Blue Carbon's participation at Solar & Storage Live Malaysia 2026 demonstrated how advanced solar+storage solutions meet today's market demands. With global trends favoring renewables – and nearly all new power capacity now coming from wind and solar – our products empower customers to store clean energy and achieve true energy freedom.
