It is said in the market: the more LED lamp beads, the brighter the lamp, which is totally fault.
In fact, the nominal wattage and the number of lamp beads don’t have any effect on the brightness of the lamp.
What’s more, that really measures brightness is lumens. The brightness of the lamp depends on the luminous flux.
Lumen refers to the measurement of the output light of the lamp, and it is used for showing the brightness of the light. Wattage refers to the energy consumed by the lamp in a certain period of time. When it comes to brightness, we should focus lumen rating of the lamp rather than the wattage.
For example 7W LED light source, the luminous efficiency of A light source is 80Lm/W, while B light source is 200Lm/W, so the luminous flux contrast is:
A: 7*80=560
B:7*200=1400
At this time, we will find that B LED light source is brighter even at same wattage.
What we used LED lamp beads is just Japan Nichia which wins the Nobel Prize, and the luminous efficiency is 220Lm/W.
So don't pay for the unnecessary lamp beads!
